Mind mapping and custom command centers

Get it out of your head. Put it on the map.

I build custom mind maps and operating dashboards for people who are carrying a lot. Your business, your family, your money, the decision you keep circling. Everything gets a place, so you can see what needs attention, what can wait, and what happens next.

Joey Baldwin, founder. Sessions in person or by screen share, built live in joeybmaps.

Eighteen things one owner is carrying. Nothing removed. Everything placed.

“Joey helped me organize the chaos, both in my business and my life.”

    Financial Services Executive, Maui

A map gives everything you are carrying a place to live.

The people I work with are holding a lot in their head: a business, a family, money, a team, a decision they keep coming back to. In a session we move all of it onto one page we can both see. Then we sort it.

The result is mental free space. Less to hold, clearer priorities, better decisions, and a calmer relationship with everything on your plate.

Once it is on the map, six things become clear.

    1. What needs attention now

The few items that are time-bound or blocking something else.

    2. What can wait

Real, but not this month. It gets a home so it stops taking up space.

    3. What can be delegated

Work that needs an owner who is not you.

    4. What needs a decision

We name the options and what would need to be true for each one.

    5. What needs to be tracked

Dates, numbers, and commitments that should never live in memory.

    6. What belongs in the bigger picture

The longer plan, in phases, so this week's work points somewhere.

Two ways I give your world a container.

Map first. Software second. Both run on joeybmaps, the tool I built for this work. The map is built in it live, and the command center is built from it.

    Mind mapping

Your Master Action Plan, built live.

We build your MAP together in working sessions, in person or by screen share. You watch it take shape in real time, and you leave with a plan you can see, edit, and act on.

    • A live map of your life, your business, or both
    • A report after every session: what became clear, what was decided, what is still unresolved
    • Action items with a name and a date on each one
    • A map that lives in joeybmaps and carries forward, so nothing important drops between sessions
    How mapping works

    Custom command centers

Your map, turned into an operating dashboard you run every day.

Once the map is steady, I build a private operating dashboard from it, in joeybmaps, around how you actually work. One screen for the tasks, dates, money, and decisions that used to live in your head and in six different apps. All it takes to start is an hour.

    • Tasks with owners, due dates, and recurring routines
    • Alerts that show up ahead of key dates
    • Your numbers in one view: cash, pipeline, property, net worth
    • A weekly review that tells you where things stand
    Open the two sample builds

Every engagement is scoped to you. See the ways to work together.

Try joeybmaps. Two minutes, no sign-up.

Open a sample and click the colored dots to unfold a branch. Or choose Empty your head, type what is on your mind, and watch it get sorted. Everything you type stays in this browser.

This is a lightweight version of joeybmaps, the software every session runs in. In a session I build your map with you, live, and carry it forward from one session to the next. Open the full studio and all five sample maps

When the map is steady, it becomes a command center.

A command center is a custom operating dashboard, built in joeybmaps from your map. Here are two sample builds with made-up data. Click around: check off a task, clear an alert, move a pursuit to the next stage.

The family office sample command center: net worth, rent collected, private money out, items that need attention, and this week's tasks.

The live samples are built for a bigger screen. Tap the picture to see it full size, or open this page on a computer to click around.

    • Built from your map

The branches we mapped in joeybmaps become the pages. Nothing is generic.

    • In your language

Your entities, your people, your terms, your brand colors.

    • One hour to start

You talk for an hour, I build version 1, and you decide. No cost until you have seen it.

    Live and available now

    COO, Nonprofit Organization, Los Angeles
Joey Baldwin, founder of Baldwin Integrated

I turn what you are carrying into a plan you can run.

I’m Joey Baldwin. I studied psychology and global health at Harvard and spent my early career helping lead operating businesses, private investment funds, and nonprofits in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. I grew up watching a family-run business take up nearly every hour my family had. That is why I do this work, and why I came home to Maui to start Baldwin Integrated.

My mission is simple to say: create mental free space. I listen closely, give what I hear a structure, and help you act on it.

    More about Joey

You do not have to figure it all out alone.

Your first session is complimentary. We build the first version of your MAP together, and you leave with a structured plan and a real feel for how the process works.

What happens in the complimentary session

Mind mapping to get clear. Command centers to stay clear.

Two services, one piece of software. Everything I do runs on joeybmaps, the mapping tool I built: your map is built in it live, your plan lives in it between sessions, and your command center is built from it.

    Service one

    Mind mapping

Your Master Action Plan, built live.

Success takes more than goals and a task list. It takes one tool that holds all of it. That tool is your MAP, your Master Action Plan.

I build it with you in joeybmaps, live, from a bank of prompts. It brings your business, career, health, finances, and personal life into one plan you can see, trust, and act on. The aim is white space in the middle of the chaos, centered on what matters most to you.

A good plan has to be three things.

    • Visual

A clear layout that shows how your ideas connect.

    • Written

A structured way to state goals, tasks, and strategies.

    • Malleable

Easy to adjust and evolve as priorities shift.

A list makes you read line by line. A map lets you take in the whole picture at once, then go as deep as you need on any branch. You can feel all three in the map studio: the Map view, the Outline view, and the way anything can be dragged somewhere new.

Why a map works. What the research says.

    How a session runs.

    1. A prep note

A short note brings the last session back into view, so we start where we left off and you do not have to remember everything.

    2. The map, built live

In person or by screen share. I ask, you talk, and the structure takes shape in joeybmaps on the screen in front of you.

    3. A clear report

What became clear, what was decided, action items with a name and a date, and what is still unresolved.

    4. A map that stays alive

Your map lives in joeybmaps and stays yours. Branches we did not get to stay visible, so nothing drifts out of sight.

    Three steps to a MAP.

    1. Choose branches

We identify the areas of your life or business that deserve focused attention. I bring a bank of branches, from personal finance and health to operations and legacy planning, and we create custom ones where you need them.

    2. Build each branch

Using prompts, we get everything in that area out of your head and sort it: what needs attention now, what needs a decision, who owns what, and what can wait.

    3. Keep it alive

We review each branch on a regular rhythm, compare what we planned with what happened, and adjust as your goals evolve.

What a fully built branch looks like.

No two branches are built the same way. A branch about a parent’s care looks nothing like a branch about a sales pipeline, and the map should reflect that instead of forcing both into one template.

A branch is fully built when nothing on it is vague. Where things stand is written down in your words. The two or three outcomes that matter have a date. Every decision shows its options and what would need to be true to choose. Every action item has an owner and a day. The numbers and deadlines that should never live in memory are on the map, with a rhythm for checking them. The risks are named before they become surprises, the people involved are visible, and the good ideas that are not for this year are parked where they stay safe.

That is what a session produces, branch by branch. See one built all the way out in the sample map.

Every item on a map is one of these kinds, so you can see at a glance what each thing needs.

    • NoteWhere things stand, in your words
    • GoalWhere this branch is headed, and by when
    • DecisionThe options, and what would need to be true
    • Action itemAn owner and a date on every one
    • Number or dateTracked on the map, never in memory
    • Recurring questionAsked every time we open the branch
    • RoutineThe rhythm that keeps the branch alive
    • Watch-outA risk named early
    • Outside supportThe people you lean on in this area
    • ParkedA good idea, kept safe for later

Your MAP lets you run your life, job, or business, so it stops running you.

Six things clients tell me change once the map exists.

    • Less cognitive load

Key details move out of your head and into a system you can manage.

    • More white space

Room to think, and a plan made with intention.

    • Your cheat sheet

A personal playbook with key insights, next steps, and progress in one place.

    • One tool for all of it

No more juggling notes, files, and apps. The MAP becomes the single source of truth.

    • An infinite whiteboard

A creative space for ideas. I act as the eraser, keeping what matters current.

    • Problems solved logically

Complex challenges broken into clear, doable steps, with the obstacles named.

“The mind mapping software made everything click. Seeing my goals, challenges, and responsibilities visually laid out helped me understand how the pieces fit together, and what to focus on first. It wasn’t just a plan, it was a living tool I could return to when things got noisy. I’ve never seen anything quite like it.”

    Service two

    Custom command centers

Your map, turned into an operating dashboard you run every day.

Some clients reach a point where the map is steady and the real need is daily operation: what is due, who owns it, and what the numbers say. For them I build a command center.

It is a private operating dashboard built in joeybmaps from your map, in your language and your brand. The branches we mapped become the pages. It replaces the spreadsheet only one person understands, the calendar reminders nobody trusts, and the checklist you run in your head at two in the morning.

    • One operating view across your businesses, your entities, and your personal book
    • Alerts raised ahead of every deadline, with lead times you set
    • Tasks with owners, due dates, and recurring routines
    • Pipelines, ledgers, and money views built for your numbers
    • A weekly review page, and reports you can print or send

    Who it is for.

    • Families with a book to run

Property, private loans, entities, insurance, and the dates that come with them.

    • Owners with many moving parts

Several channels, sites, or companies, and one person who has to see all of it.

    • Funds and deal teams

Pipelines, capital, compliance, and reporting to partners.

    • Boards and leadership teams

A shared view that doubles as the meeting agenda.

    How you get one.

    1. One hour on a screen share

You talk. I take notes as a mind map on screen. That map becomes the architecture of your command center. No prep on your end.

    2. I build version 1

From that hour of input, I build a working first version around how you run things, in your words and your stages.

    3. You decide

I walk you through it. If it is useful, you buy it. If it is not, you have spent an hour and you keep the map.

All I need to start is an hour. No cost and no commitment until you have seen version 1. What happens after you say yes.

    Both services run on joeybmaps.

joeybmaps is the software I built to carry out this work. It is live and in use with clients today, and it is the reason a map does not end when the session does.

    • Built live

Your map takes shape in joeybmaps during the session, in your words, while you watch.

    • Stays alive

Between sessions your map lives there, with every action item, date, and decision, and AI agents that nudge you about the priorities you set.

    • Becomes software

Command centers are built from the map, so the structure you already think in becomes the pages you run your week from.

Let’s map it out together. Your first session is complimentary.

    Experience a map in joeybmaps.

This is a lightweight version of joeybmaps, the software every session runs in. Explore five sample maps, one for each kind of client I work with, or empty your own head onto a fresh map. Nothing you type leaves this browser.

Five sample maps. No real clients, no names.

Each one is built the way a real engagement is: the branches we choose, how deep each one goes, and where the action items, decisions, numbers, and parked ideas live. Open one, then click Walk me through it.

    Individuals and families

    A family of four

Two careers, two kids, a grandparent who needs care, and a kitchen under construction. One shared map instead of four calendars and a group text.

    • A weekly rhythm and clear roles
    • A grandparent’s care in its own branch, with the decision the family keeps circling
    • The renovation with a budget and the risk to the timeline
    • Time for the relationship, on the map

    Business owners

    A family-owned construction company

A fourth-generation heavy civil contractor, family owned for more than 100 years. Four regions, 1,150 people, 46 active jobs, and a president holding the whole picture.

    • Twelve branches, from vision to the parking lot
    • Every region and its jobs, with the risk on each one named
    • Family ownership and succession next to operations
    • The president’s own life on the same map

    Executives and employees

A senior leader at a growing company

Partnerships, operations, and a lean team at a fast-growing company. Too many responsibilities, no system to rank them, and the first signs of burnout.

    • The role, ranked by impact, so the week has an order
    • A delegation list with a name on every handoff
    • Calendar, boundaries, sleep, and family on the same map as the job
    • Red flags: the early signs of burnout, and a rule for when two show up

    Investment funds

A real estate fund in formation

Two partners forming a boutique fund: a first close to reach, a legal and tax structure to finish, early deal flow, and roles to divide before the money arrives.

    • The capital raise as a pipeline, with the anchor question in the open
    • Roles and ownership, so two partners stop doing the same work
    • A compliance calendar with an owner on every date
    • The partnership itself: decision rules and the buy-sell

    Nonprofits

    A youth development nonprofit

Nine staff, a 14-seat board, 640 young people served this year, and a $1.4M budget with a grant deadline nearly every month.

    • Funding sources and every grant deadline with an owner
    • Board seats, committees, and a personal plan for each member
    • A strategic plan in three phases
    • Role questions that were causing overlap

    Your own

    Empty your head

Type what is on your mind, one thing at a time, and watch it get sorted onto branches. Save it, download it, or send it to me as the starting point for a session.

    • Questions become decisions, verbs become action items
    • Saved in this browser only
    • Download it as an image, an outline, or a map file

The real version is built around you.

In a complimentary session we build the first version of your own map together, live, in joeybmaps.

    Custom command centers.

A command center is a private operating dashboard built in joeybmaps from your map. One screen for the tasks, dates, money, and decisions that used to live in your head and in six different apps. Below is how you get one, then two sample builds with made-up data and no client names.

    How you get one.

All I need to start is an hour. No cost and no commitment until you have seen version 1. The map we build in that hour becomes the architecture of the software, so it reflects how you already think about your world.

    1. One hour on a screen share

You talk. I take notes as a mind map on screen, in joeybmaps. That map becomes the architecture of your command center. No prep on your end.

    2. I build version 1

From that hour of input, I build a working first version around how you run things, in your words and your stages, filled with sample data so your feedback is about something you can click.

    3. You decide

I walk you through it. If it is useful, you buy it. If it is not, you have spent an hour and you keep the map.

    4. Your real records go in

Once it is yours, we agree the rules: what raises an alert, how far ahead, and who owns it. Your book goes in, we tighten it over the first weeks of use, and it stays current as your world changes.

    Sample build one

A family office that runs from one page.

A family holds private loans, rental property, and a few entities. Before, the book lived in a spreadsheet, a calendar, and one person’s memory. Now every date raises itself ahead of time, every task has an owner, and the monthly numbers are one click away.

    • Try it: mark the late rent as received and watch the numbers update
    • Open Alerts to see the lead times behind every reminder
    • Open Net worth and hover the trend line
The family office sample command center: net worth, rent collected, private money out, items that need attention, and this week's tasks.

The live samples are built for a bigger screen. Tap the picture to see it full size, or open this page on a computer to click around.

    Sample build two

A 100-year-old construction company, run from one screen.

The same family-owned heavy civil contractor from the sample map: 46 active jobs, $610M of backlog, 640 pieces of equipment, and a pipeline of pursuits. The branches on the map became the pages here.

    • Try it: open Pursuits and drag a bid to the next stage
    • Open Safety and hover the recordable rate
    • Open Weekly review to see where the company stands
The construction company sample command center: work in hand, pursuits, safety, fleet, bonding, items that need attention, and revenue by region.

The live samples are built for a bigger screen. Tap the picture to see it full size, or open this page on a computer to click around.

    What can go inside.

Every build is different, because every operation is. These are the pieces clients ask for most, shaped around your words and your way of working.

    • A Today pageWhat is overdue, what is due this week, and what is coming.
    • An alert engineEvery deadline raised ahead of time, with lead times you set.
    • Tasks and routinesOwners, due dates, and recurring work that comes back on its own.
    • Money viewsLoan ledgers, rent rolls, revenue by region or channel, net worth.
    • PipelinesDeals, bids, prospects, or projects by stage, with values.
    • A weekly reviewWhere things stand and the three priorities for next week.
    • ReportsSummaries you can print or send to a partner, a parent, or a board.
    • Your brandYour colors, your names for things, your way of working.
    • A joeybmaps tileYour map stays connected, so the plan and the dashboard never drift apart.
    • Anything your operation runs onFleet, safety, leases, grants, compliance. If you track it, it can live here.

    It starts with an hour.

Text me to set up a screen share. We map what you are running today, and you see version 1 before you decide anything.

    Why this exists now.

Each step in modern technology gave people something new, and left something unsolved. The fourth step is the one we are in now.

    1. The internet

      Gave us access to everything.

And more information than anyone can hold.

    2. The iPhone

      Gave us constant connection.

And a day where everything arrives at once.

    3. AI

      Gave us intelligence on demand.

With no sense of what matters most to you.

    4. Custom AI tools

Technology shaped around one person’s actual life.

      This is where joeybmaps lives.

    What joeybmaps does.

Most people run a modern life on memory, scattered notes, and a dozen apps that never talk to each other. joeybmaps is one place, built around what you decided is important, with AI doing the remembering.

    • Your map at the center

Every priority, decision, and action item in one living map, built with you in a session and kept current between sessions.

    • AI agents on your priorities

You decide what matters. Agents watch those priorities across every area of your life and nudge you before something slips.

    • Command centers as tiles

Your business or family dashboard plugs into the map, so the plan and the daily numbers never drift apart. See two sample builds.

    • Concierge services

Hand off the follow-through you choose: reminders, follow-ups, and next steps that keep moving without you holding them.

From one session to a system you live in.

joeybmaps works best with the mapping sessions behind it. The session gives the system its meaning. The software keeps it alive every day.

    1. We build your map

Live, in a session. Everything you are carrying gets a place.

    2. Branches become priorities

Each branch of your map becomes a priority area in joeybmaps.

    3. We set what the agents watch

Dates, decisions, routines, and the people involved. You choose how and when you hear about each one.

    4. A weekly review keeps it current

A few minutes a week to see what moved, what slipped, and what is next.

    5. Every session sharpens it

Session reports feed the map, so the system keeps up with how you actually live and work.

What stays human, and what the AI carries.

AI is best at carrying what your memory should not have to. Your judgment stays in charge of everything that matters.

    In a session, with me

    • What each part of your life means to you
    • The decisions with real weight behind them
    • The first structure of your map
    • The judgment calls, and the hard conversations

    Every day, in joeybmaps

    • Reminders and follow-ups at the right moment
    • Dates, numbers, and commitments, tracked
    • Recurring check-in questions
    • Every priority kept visible, so nothing drifts out of sight

It is live. Ask me for access.

joeybmaps is in use with clients today, from individuals and families to business owners and their teams. Text me and I will walk you through it.

Try a lightweight version of the map first

    Who I work with.

Mapping fits anyone in a growth phase, whether you are working on your quality of life, your relationships, or your business. The process gives you a third-party view of your own world. You step outside the aquarium and see the whole thing.

    Individuals and families

Family logistics, aging parents, home, money, health, time together

I work with individuals and families to create personalized plans that bring more structure, alignment, and peace of mind.

Whether you plan together or separately, the MAP process supports stronger relationships, clearer communication, and a more intentional way of living. Most families start with the weekly rhythm and the two or three things that keep slipping.

“Having a visual plan helped us communicate more clearly as a couple. It brought structure to our week and peace to our home.”

Parents managing aging parents and kids, Maui

    Business owners

Operations, team, money, growth, and the owner’s own life

I help business owners line up their operations, their vision, and their personal priorities.

Using a data-driven approach, we streamline decision-making and build long-term strategies for growth. The map is built live in joeybmaps, and when it is steady it can become a command center: an operating dashboard the business runs on every day.

“I didn’t need more productivity tips. I needed a real system. My MAP gave me that, and now I use it weekly to track progress and reset.”

Co-Owner of a Retail Business, Los Angeles

    Executives and employees

Career, focus, boundaries, leadership, time off

I help professionals at every level grow their careers, set strategic goals, and stay grounded through change.

Whether you are stepping into leadership or protecting your life outside of work, your MAP brings focus, accountability, and a long-term view. The job and the life around it go on the same map, because they pull on each other.

“Joey helped us identify what was slowing down our team and realign our roles around growth. We’ve already seen a difference in clarity and morale.”

VP of Operations, Tech Company, Scottsdale

    Investment funds

Capital deployment, entity structure, compensation, compliance

I support investment funds with strategic plans for operating teams and portfolio companies.

Each fund receives a phased MAP covering capital deployment, entity structure, compensation, and compliance, so stakeholders stay aligned and the growth plan is clear. The compliance calendar and the investor pipeline live on the map, with an owner on every date.

“He mapped out our internal processes and investor timeline in a way that helped us go from reactive to strategic. Everyone’s on the same page now.”

Managing Partner, Real Estate Fund, Las Vegas

    Nonprofits

Board alignment, programs, grants, staffing, strategic plan

For nonprofits I create personal plans for board members and an evolving plan for the organization that supports long-term impact.

The process helps boards align around their vision, clarify responsibilities, and act with intention.

“Our executive team finally has alignment, and a system we can all see and use.”

    COO, Nonprofit Organization, Los Angeles

    Not sure where you fit?

Most clients are more than one of these at once. Text or email me what you are carrying and we will figure out the right starting point.

Real clients. Real complexity. Real clarity.

I work with individuals, families, business owners, funds, and nonprofits to untangle complexity and design clear, visual plans. Each case below shows how a MAP moved a client from overwhelm to structured action, and what changed afterward.

    Business

    Scaling with structure

    • 60%of operational tasks delegated within 90 days
    • 2new team members hired, each with a clear onboarding MAP
    • 4 times a weekmorning fitness routine, back in place

    The client

Solo founder of a seven-figure e-commerce brand, managing a small remote team while juggling operations, marketing, and product development without a clear structure.

    The challenge

The founder was overwhelmed. Team communication was breaking down, key projects were stalling, and high-level strategy kept getting pushed aside. His fitness routine and personal time had disappeared, leaving him reactive, scattered, and burned out.

    What we built

Two parallel Master Action Plans, one for the business and one for his personal life. The business MAP organized every core operating area: team structure, compensation and benefits planning, product workflows, and marketing rhythm. A leadership habits branch set routines for delegation, reflection, and weekly team check-ins.

The personal MAP held daily fitness routines, a personal task system, and redesigned time blocks that protect rest, recovery, and focus. A phased long-term plan reconnected him with goals beyond the business.

“I feel like I can breathe again and focus on vision.”

    Family

    Family in flow and focus

    • 6 to 8 hourssaved every week through better coordination
    • Less tensionaround household roles and priorities
    • A shared rhythmand a sense of control, restored

    The client

A dual-career couple with two kids, managing school schedules, aging parent care, a home renovation, and side projects, and feeling overwhelmed by competing priorities and mental load.

    The challenge

They were reacting to life instead of managing it with intention. Important tasks slipped through the cracks, routines were inconsistent, and they had no shared system for making decisions or staying aligned.

    What we built

A Family MAP dashboard that brought structure to daily life: a weekly planning rhythm, a shared calendar, and branches for kid logistics (school, childcare, health), aging parent care (appointments, legal documents, coordination), personal routines, and delegated household tasks. We added a renovation timeline with budget tracking and a Parking Lot to hold non-urgent ideas.

“For the first time in years, we feel like we’re living with intention instead of reacting to chaos.”

Open a sample family map with the same shape

    Executive

    Executive realignment

    • 8 to 10 hoursof focused time reclaimed every week
    • Recurring tasks delegatedand a personal executive assistant onboarded
    • Fitness, sleep, and family timerestored

    The client

A senior leader at a fast-growing media company overseeing partnerships, operations, and a lean internal team, facing burnout and unsure where to focus time and energy.

    The challenge

With too many responsibilities and no system to prioritize them, important work was reactive, boundaries were unclear, and personal health, family time, and recovery were suffering.

    What we built

A Personal-Professional MAP that defined the core job functions and ranked them by impact. We mapped a delegation and support structure, created a weekly and quarterly review rhythm, and rebuilt the calendar with dedicated blocks for focus, recovery, and rest. A wellness branch covered sleep tracking, movement goals, and digital boundaries. A Red Flags branch catches the early signs of burnout.

“I’ve never felt more in control of my time, or more present with my family.”

    Investment fund

    Fund in formation

    • Under 45 daysto a finalized fund structure and legal setup
    • $5Minitial raise, with organized outreach and investor tracking
    • More alignmentand trust between the co-founders

    The client

Two partners forming a boutique investment fund focused on early-stage real estate projects across Hawaiʻi and the mainland, preparing for a capital raise while managing early deal flow.

    The challenge

Without a clear roadmap, the partners struggled to divide responsibilities, track legal and compliance workflows, and communicate with potential LPs. Pitch materials and internal systems were scattered, which stalled momentum and decisions.

    What we built

A Capital Raise MAP that clarified timelines for fund formation, legal filings, and tax structuring. A role clarity branch divided ownership across investor outreach, deal review, and back-office functions. We mapped the LP pipeline, pitch prep, and due diligence process, and built a long-term operating cadence for post-close reporting and portfolio company oversight.

“The MAP helped us act like a real fund, not just two guys with a deck.”

    Nonprofit

    Nonprofit on mission

    • Board engagement upand the governance structure clarified
    • Ahead of scheduleon grant requirements
    • Bandwidth backfor strategic initiatives and staff development

    The client

A growing nonprofit supporting youth development and financial literacy in Hawaiʻi, with a small team, active programs, and new grant cycles underway.

    The challenge

The executive director was stretched thin. The board was not aligned, staff roles overlapped, and grant deadlines were being missed. Without a shared roadmap, the organization lacked focus.

    What we built

A Strategic MAP that clarified key timelines and responsibilities, with branches for program milestones, grant deliverables, and a phased hiring and onboarding workflow. We mapped board roles, engagement rhythms, and an internal communication system that streamlined messaging across leadership, staff, and community. Long-term goals were broken into quarterly phases to anchor planning sessions.

“The MAP helped me stop managing in my inbox and start leading with clarity.”

My mission: creating mental free space.

Using mind mapping, strategic planning, and joeybmaps, the software I built for this work, I help individuals, families, and businesses organize their world and turn ideas into action. The approach is rooted in how the brain actually handles complexity. It turns that complexity into a living plan, built for where you want to go.

Joey Baldwin, founder of Baldwin Integrated

    Joey BaldwinFounder, Baldwin Integrated
    Maui, Hawaiʻi

I build the structure that gives people their time back.

I grew up on Maui in a family-run business, and I saw what it cost the people I loved. The hours, the financial strain, and the weight of everyday decisions left little time for what mattered. From an early age I knew I wanted to help people, families, and businesses gain control and clarity. Those years are the reason Baldwin Integrated exists.

I studied psychology and global health at Harvard University, where I dug into human behavior, decision-making, and systems thinking. My early career took shape in a corporate office, where I helped lead operating businesses, manage private investment funds, and advise nonprofits across Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

After years of building and tightening organizations, I came home to Maui and started Baldwin Integrated. I offer planning, execution support, and strategic insight to clients who are ready for systems that leave time for what matters to them. Along the way I built joeybmaps, the software every engagement now runs on, because the tools I found could hold a plan but could not keep it alive.

“Joey brings a rare combination of operational experience and emotional intelligence. His ability to create mental white space, especially for people who are juggling a lot, is what sets him apart. He doesn’t just offer insight; he clears the noise so you can actually move forward with clarity, structure, and confidence. His background gives him range, but it’s his presence that makes the difference.”

You do not have to figure it all out alone.

Let’s map it out together. Your first session is complimentary.

    Refer and collaborate.

I work alongside other professionals to strengthen client outcomes. Attorneys, advisors, and coaches bring me in to organize the strategy, track progress, and keep action items moving.

You focus on the strategy. I manage the details.

While you focus on high-level strategy, I make sure nothing slips through the cracks. Together we turn a client’s vision into action with clarity and alignment.

I also support coaches and advisors by attending calls or reviewing transcripts, including AI-generated ones, and turning them into structured MAPs in joeybmaps. The process captures the key insights, decisions, and next steps, and turns them into a visual plan your clients can follow with confidence and keep alive between your meetings.

    • Financial services experts

      CPAs and financial advisors

You provide the financial strategy. I help clients follow through. With personalized MAPs we guide them through major decisions and long-term planning, which adds clarity, accountability, and retention.

    Partner spotlight

Strategic mapping for high net worth clients.

“Joey helped us deliver a level of planning that our clients didn’t even know they needed, and that we couldn’t have done internally. It’s deepened relationships and helped us stand out in a crowded market.”

    Managing Partner, Wealth Advisory Firm

    The partner

A boutique wealth management firm serving ultra-high-net-worth families with multi-generational strategies.

    The challenge

Several of the advisor’s top clients were navigating complex transitions: liquidity events, family dynamics, and legacy planning. The firm had no structured way to support those needs beyond traditional financial advice.

    What we did

We offered strategic mapping as a white-labeled, value-added service. The advisor billed the client through his firm, and I supported discreetly as an external consultant. Each client received a customized MAP covering:

    • Family communication and succession
    • Lifestyle planning after a liquidity event
    • Advisory team coordination
    • Philanthropic and impact strategy
    • Operating business clarity

    The outcome

    • Clients received clarity, structure, and shared decision-making tools
    • The advisor deepened relationships and stood out in a competitive market
    • Compensation flowed through the firm as a clean vendor agreement
    • We have since collaborated on 6+ client plans across generations

    Referrals.

“I referred a close friend to Joey during a time when they were feeling overwhelmed, personally and professionally. After just one session, they told me they felt lighter, clearer, and genuinely supported. It’s rare to send someone a resource that actually exceeds expectations, but this did. I’ll continue sending people his way without hesitation.”

    Referral incentive

When I am accepting new clients, I offer session discounts or credits for referrals, whether they come from professionals, friends, or clients. I am also happy to offer a complimentary session to anyone you believe would benefit from this work.

    Word of mouth

Word-of-mouth referrals are the strongest endorsement of my work. They are built on trust, results, and real change. When clients share their experience, they help someone else discover what a personalized MAP can do.

    What happens in the session.

I design and refine your MAP live in joeybmaps, in person or by screen share, so you watch your plan come to life in real time.

    1. We define the scope

What your MAP needs to cover, and what matters most right now.

    2. We build the first version

Your top priorities go onto the map, sorted into branches, with next steps you can act on.

    3. We choose the support that fits

A single session, a retainer, or a special project. Pricing and cadence are set to match.

“I went into the complimentary session unsure what to expect, and in just one session I left with more clarity than I’ve had in months. Joey helped me organize what felt overwhelming and surface next steps that were actually doable. It felt like someone finally understood the whole picture.”

    Questions people ask first.

What do I leave the complimentary session with?

The first version of your MAP in joeybmaps, a clear view of your top priorities and next steps, and a recommendation for the level of support that fits. You also get hands-on experience with the process before committing further.

    How is pricing set?

In the complimentary session we define the scope of your MAP and set a custom pricing structure and session cadence. Clients who commit to prepaid packages or a monthly retainer receive discounted rates. I offer reduced pricing for individuals, businesses, and nonprofits navigating financial challenges.

Do we meet in person or remotely?

Either one. I build your MAP live during each session, in person or by screen share.

    How often would we meet?

It depends on the engagement. A single mapping session runs 60 minutes. Retainer clients usually meet every two weeks or monthly, with email and text access in between. Special projects run 2 to 4 sessions over 30 to 60 days.

What is a command center, and do I need one?

A command center is a private operating dashboard built in joeybmaps from your map, with alerts, tasks, and your numbers in one view. Getting one starts with an hour on a screen share. I build version 1 from that hour, and you decide once you have seen it. No cost until then. See two sample builds.

    What is joeybmaps?

The software I built for this work. Every map is built in it live during a session, it holds your plan between sessions, and command centers are built from it. You can try a lightweight version in the map studio, and clients get access as part of the work. More about joeybmaps.

Can you work with my advisors or my team?

Yes. Retainer clients often bring in key team members or advisors, and I regularly work alongside attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, and coaches. More on how I partner.
